Feeling Better...

I think we're coming to the dregs of this cough/cold now. Hannah seems fine, just a bit snuffly on a morning. I'm definitely much much better and just need to shake the niggly bit of cough that seems to always hang around way past it's welcome. (Not that it was ever welcome in the first place, but you know what I mean!)

We've had a nice weekend. On Saturday, we did a bit of shopping - groceries and Christmas bits and pieces. We were home in time for Hannah's lunch and nap, then in the afternoon Al, Biscuit and Tyler came over. Steve has been away for work, so they came to hang out for a while and we had an early dinner so Al didn't have to worry about cooking, then she headed home to get the kids to bed. It was a very nice afternoon/evening!

Today we spent the morning getting things done around the house and then headed out after Hannah's nap.

We started a new tradition this year - giving a gift to the K-Mart Wishing Tree. I want to do this every year with Hannah, so that as she grows up she begins to learn the importance of giving and that there are people in this world far less fortunate than us who need a helping hand and a little Christmas cheer.

Here she is picking a gift tag from the Wishing Tree, and with the present all wrapped ready to be put under the tree. We chose to give a gift to a little girl Hannah's age.

Being a very fortunate little girl, Hannah enjoyed her first Babycino today! She LOVED it!

All in all, a lovely weekend :-)

Big day tomorrow - Mark is picking Liv up from the city and they will be home by early afternoon :-) Then we can put the Christmas tree up!
